If you use something that's made up of random or seemingly random characters in upper case, lower case, numbers and symbols and it's at least 10 or 12 characters long then I'd say it's pretty safe, after all, I use those kinds of passwords for my online banking. The good thing is that Tonido actually doesn't store stuff on their servers as is the case with Dropbox and other cloud sync services. The data is on your PC and you can access it via the app on your iPhone or by going to a particular URL where you would then sign in with your user name and password.
