I am not sure when the fall detection came in, bu the Series 6 might be the first one with the blood oxygen measurement. Frankly, the fall detection is nothing to write home about. It has gone off when I was tossing cloths in the dryer, but when I sat down on an 18 inch high stool and got off centered and fell hard enough to crack four ribs, it did nothing.
