You can go to the receipt that you received for the app purchase and report a bug and go through the process there. If I remember correctly, you can go to the App Store follow my my account, then purchases and look for the app there. The credit card idea, for this circumstance, may not actually be a good idea as your bank may block purchases from the App Store.
