Well said, Julian.

In addition, if I pay the same money for a product as those outside the US,
then I expect the same feature set. It really is that simple. To me, selling
a phone model that does not offer the same features but that costs the same
price as the enhanced model, is insulting.

Just my opinion, of course.

with a Physical SIM Tray from within the United States?

For what it's worth, some of us simply just enjoy the freedom of switching our
Sim card between phones without having to interact with our carrier. Remember
the good ole days of CDMA? Were you had to interact with the carrier and give
them your electronic serial number every time you wanted to switch phones? I
realize that eSIM is nowhere near as draconian, but still, some of us just
enjoy that freedom and enjoy that method and it should not be taken away from
us. Therefore, I fully understand why Mark wants to go through the trouble of
finding an iPhone 14 that still allows him the flexibility. Not that I'm
necessarily in the market for an iPhone 14, but, I will be watching this
discussion with interest. I'm certain that some of my clients will asked
similar questions so I would like to have good info to give them.
