I like using reminders if it’s something I need to check-off, such as to give
my dog her monthly medicine. I like using the calendar for some things, but
it’s really easy to delete the notification and then move on with life and not
be reminded again. With the reminder, it stays in my notifications and I can
also see it in the reminder app. If it’s a recurring reminder, double tapping
it will mark it complete for that instance.

In general, I love reminders because I can just tell Siri, ” remind me later
tonight to take out the trash” or “remind me on Saturday to call mom”. It’s a
quick way to take ideas I have and get them somewhere were I can flick through
all the to dos.

Subject: Question about calendar

Hello,

If I want my phone to remind me to do something every Wednesday, Should I use
calendar or reminder?
In any case, what should I do?
In one occasion I asked Siri to remind me something, but the phone never did
it. However, the reminder appeared in my Windows pc.
Would anyone please explain what to do to have the iPhone SE20 to remind me an
event?

Rena
