If you can, get a new iPhone! My Dad's Lighnting port went soud too, and he 
took it to supposedly get it replaced and the phone cleaned, for $350mxn, but 
still would go through these moments, when you'd connect it to charge, and it'd 
quickly connect/disconnect, connect/disconnect like crazy!
