The SE 2022 has the same A15 processor as the iPhone 13, 13 Pro and in fact also the iPhone 14 since tis year only the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max got the new A16 processor. It has the smaller 4.7 inch screen and a virtual home button, but physically it is not much smaller than an iPhone 13 Mini which has Face Id. I think you won't be unhappy with either phone, if you like the SE phones with a home button this will be a good upgrade and will be very familiar to you except of course it will be more responsive and have much better battery life than your old SE/.
