The issue with the sleep timer is a bug that NLS is aware of. As for bard mobile not keeping your place in a book after closing it in the app switcher, I am having no issues. I can begin to play a book in bard mobile, then go to my home screen, then close bard mobile with the app switcher, then reopen bard mobile and my book will resume playback from where I left off with no issues. I'd email [email protected] and let them know of the issue.
