Hey Mark and others, I have Apple AirPods Pro, as well as the apple wired EarPods. The only time I use my apple wired EarPods is when I go to bed, listening to audiobooks. I just keep one in one ear, and my phone is sitting on the nightstand, which is right beside the bed. Fortunately, I have not had the issues you described With getting tangled up in the cords. I like the loose fit of the wired AirPod, I don’t think I would like the tight fit of the AirPod when I’m trying to drift off to sleep. Dan
