Hi Everyone. I finally upgraded to iOS 16.2 from iOS 15.7 on my XR phone, and I had to erase the entire phone in order to get back my phone calls in the recent folder of the Phone App. All that so far is fine. Another problem I am now having is I can't set up Face ID. When I try to set it up, I keep getting a message saying my face is not in the frame, then I get a message saying Face ID can't detect any sun glasses put on sun glasses and try again, but I'm not wearing glasses. Sometimes I get the message saying move my head to the right, and then move my head to the left, move my head up. I then get a message saying 30 percent. 65 percent move head up, I move my head and it says Face ID not available try again later. I checked in the detention feature and it is off. Can someone please tell me is there a new way of setting up Face ID in iOS 16.2? I feel this is a real security threat not being able to use Face ID. When I am around people, when I am in the store, when I am in the doctor's office, I have to enter in my passcode using Voiceover, in which means everyone can hear my passcode.
