Hello Mary, As I do not have an Apple Music subscription, I cannot assist you in resolving your Play List problem.
However, as far as Siri's seemingly random responses to your spoken requests, I suggest that, after pressing the Siri button on your device, you wait a full second after you hear the audio prompt, before speaking. If you can get in the habit of doing this, I think you will find that Siri is as consistent as it was in previous versions of the OS. I have recently created a couple of playlists on my iPhone XR. They show up there. They show up on my old iPhone 7 Plus. And they play just fine on my Amazon eight devices because they’re linked to Apple Music and I can say play my playlist, XYZ and it works. On my iPad mini six, these playlists are not there. Why the heck not? I just don’t understand what the heck is going on with Apple. Between the totally erratic behavior of Siri, half of the time, claiming it doesn’t have an app I want to launch, which I actually have, and the fact that when I say something like launch music, it starts playing some thing I don’t want rather than launching the Music app, I really think iOS 16 is loaded with bugs that need to be stumped and I don’t get it. Come on Apple. We pay big bucks for these phones and iPads. Clean it up! Sent from my iPhone -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
