Hi Janet, It’s very interesting about that tone. It seems to me that because I can hear it sometimes and not other times, there might be something going on with audio ducking. It seems to me like voice over having been speaking, just as I pressed the side button to invoke Siri is somehow responsible for not hearing the tone. Therefore, I am wondering about that audio ducking. The problem does not ever occur with iOS 15 on my old phone and did not occur on iOS 15 with this 10 R phone.
