Absolutely and if you already own music which is not on the streaming service then you can still gett his onto your iPhone the traditional way. I am sure if you had trouble figuring it out with iTunes that Apple or Microsoft Accessibility would help and once it's done I think it even uploads to your Apple Music library or at least it used to. About 15 years ago my Uncle gave me a CD of a performance of a German highschool big band where his grandson (my cousin's son) played base, I ripped it to my iTunes Media and had it on my phone and ever since it's been available via my Apple Music library and I am pretty sure this would not be one Apple Music would have in its catalogue. The same applies to a few local artists from where I live and they are not as famous as Alex Cuba who also happens to live in our small town of 5,000 in Northern BC and who is definitely well known at least by people who like Latin music. He is originally from Cuba, and his real name is of course not Alex Cuba, but if you don't mind music with Spanish lyrics you should check him out, he won a Grammy award in 2022 for his album " Mendó" as " Best Latin Pop or Urban Album".

My solution for many years has been to use Apple Music, yes, it costs me a few Bucks each months, but I have what by now I think are 90 Million songs or something like that at my fingertip and I can listen to what I want and if you want to have stuff available for offline listening you can download it to your device and as long as your apple Music subscription is active you can play it.
