You can release it wherever you like, but since you're navigating with the
keyboard, Voiceover doesn't see the blank spots on your home screens for you
to drop it into, therefore all you can do is create folders.

Shoot, so close. Are we sure about this? It seems a little dumb that you can
pick up an App, that Voiceover would say "moving app," but then it won't let
you release it into the new destination. And there I got all excited that
moving apps would be a lot easier than dragging my finger around and cursing
Voiceover for not announcing things where I know they are located. I know
some folks use the drop in dock approach, but I got all excited. Thanks for
bursting my bubble there, buddy. LOL

I don't' think you can do that, you can only create folders with the
keyboard, as opposed to dropping it in different posissions on the screen.

Hi, I've figured out that you can select an app in the home screen to move
with Shift + VO + M. I can then navigate to the point where I want to drop
the app, but I have no idea how to then release the setting to drop the app
where I want it. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
