Hi,
I get that message all of the time. I don’t have a current meeting to look at for the exact wording, but what I do is to flick up from that message and just above it I find something like “use wifi or cellular data.” I double tap on that, and my audio is available. I don’t quite understand it, but it works. I hope that helps! I suspect some updates changed basic settings one of which was to turn off certain items by default which were enabled in previous versions. I think I've been able to fix the problem but when I tried to use the basic test from Zoom, I was asked for an access code which of course I didn't have. I actually registered with Zoom and they sent me an invitation to test their service, with no code of any kind included. Anyway, here's what I did in hopes of fixing my problem for a zoom meeting tomorrow. I've sending this to the list in cawe others have a solution or experienced the same issues with Zoom. 1 Open zoom and activate the tab at the bottom labelled as "more," it will say selected when double tapped. 2 Move below "settings." You might have to swipe around a bit to locate the settings. 3. Double tap "meetings." 4 Double tap "mute my microphone" and be sure that is set to off. I have never had to play around in the Zoom settings before. Prior to my most recent effort, Everything just worked when activating the provided link in my invitation emails. I make this noise by rubbing my hind legs together. I needed to use the app a few days ago but ran into a problem I can’t solve. Once getting into the app for a particular meeting, I get a message informing me that I need to enable audio before I can join the meeting. I’m told to click a button which takes me to a screen where I can press another button to enable audio. The problem is that immediately after tapping the second button, I’m returned to the previous screen where I’m instructed to enable audio. Pressing the button to enable audio simply continues the same behavior. Has anyone run into this problem? If so and you’ve found a solution, I’d really like to hear how you did it. As always, any help is greatly appreciated. Stay well. Take care, Ed Przybylek -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
