I have the August pro smart lock. Love it. Not a silly question. Its nice to have the lock unlock when you walk up to the door so you don’t have to mess around with your keys. Also nice to be able to assign codes to people who are coming to your house to work if your not around. You don’t have to give out keys.

And they're pretty accessible on iOS. However, the locks themselves are physical touch screens for the keypad. That's why I have to use my smart phone. But I do come with a physical key that you can use to unlock them.
