Hello Kay, The NextDoor app is a very unsatisfying app, as far as VoiceOver is concerned, in my opinion.
Even though it has gotten much more VoiceOver accessible, I think the number of collateral gestures, required to read any meaningful information, is far too high. However, when you click on a NextDoor notification in your device's notification area, when you land on NextDoor, single finger double tap on the display to actually open the thread about which you were notified.
