I haven’t gotten the message yet, but I expect to. Last week sometime I saw an article in one of the tech publications talking about how T-Mobile was going to do this. Given the number of security issues that they have had, I personally do not intend to give them my bank account number. It’s almost enough to make me switch carriers. But I’ll keep it. It’s going to be a pain paying each month instead of having it automatically dealt with. But there’s no way I’m giving them my checking account number. If somebody gets in there, you have no guarantees at all. If something happens on a credit card You’re covered. And if you have an Apple Card, they don’t get any information that’s useful anyway. I don’t care about the five dollar discount. I care more about the inconvenience of having to get online to pay it every month. Plus it’s bad faith. T-Mobile has just had too many security issues.
