I don't think it does that. It looks to me like you have to have dropped a bunch of waypoints along a route and then you can create a route out of those waypoints. It says on the route screen: Create a route for yourself or for someone else by organizing a set of markers as waypoints on a route. While out on your route with VoiceVista, you will be informed on arrival to each waypoint, and the Audio Beacon will automatically advance to the next waypoint.
