Not to be overly picky, Goodmaps explore is primarily for indoor travel where their beacons have been set up, while it can do some outdoor. GoodMaps Outdoors is the one for outdoor travel. Stick with Apple Maps, Google Maps, GoodMaps Outdoors if you want turn by turn directions to some place you have not been before. It looks to me like you have to have dropped a bunch of waypoints along a route and then you can create a route out of those waypoints. It says on the route screen:     Create a route for yourself or for someone else by organizing a set of markers as waypoints on a route.
