They both use data from September 2021. Correcting it only corrects it
for that one chat and context instance, not for everyone or even new
chats from you. GPT4 is more likely to say that it doesn't know, and
less likely to get things completely wrong, although it can get some
details wrong. It's like asking a very fast human who has crammed lots
of info into their brain. Just, a good bit different because it's not a
human, just trained on human data.

I do want to give a slight warning though in regards to asking for
information. The AI can “hallucinate” and give dead wrong information,
but do so very confidently. It doesn’t tend to say “I don’t know” but
will just make stuff up, so verify everything.
