This happens to me at times as well and often if I ask the same thing a second time, e.g. to call somebody or text somebody, it thebn works.

I love siri for what it can do but I find the following behavior to be extremely annoying and am wondering if there is a solution for it. I have Face ID enabled but Siri insists on saying I have to unlock my phone first before executing simple commands like just asking her to call or message someone which seems to be totally unnecessary.
