Hi Mark,

Unfortunately, this is clearly bad implementation on the part of Apple. It
bewilders me to know end that having control of the entire chain, they cannot
get multipoint connection to work as expected between an iPhone, an Apple
Watch, and AirPods. there are myriad third-party headsets that handle this just
fine, including the under $30 pair that I occasionally use. Any Plantronics or
Blue Parrot headset also does this quite well. I hope that in the future Apple
is finally able to get its act together and make this work the way it's
supposed to.
