Hi: When I had an ATT eSim I had to reset. I chose keep sim but it crashed. Had to go to the ATT store and get a physical sim.

Also, from my understanding when a phone is reset, one is asked whether they'd like to keep the e-sim on the phone or reset the phone and delete the ESIM.
