We like ours, you can set it to tell you when a person is coming, though usually ours picks up people just walking by which is fine with me, our street is quiet, and the person is coming notification also f course works for people actually coming to see you. We also have it set to tell us when a package has been left, not always accurate but we like it. Mostly I like that everything is recorded which is nice, real easy to prove that a package wasn't delivered, we've gotten some great videos of the kids, we used it once to prove to a guy that the contractor who swore up and down was lying, the boss kept insisiting his guy had been there, we kept insisting he hadn't,, and finally I sent him the video with the time his contractor said he was there.. but wasn't. Obviously, if you are totally blind you won't see who is at your door but you can hear whatever is going on through the microphone or audio track of the recording.
