I also have one of these motion activated sprinklers which work relatively well for chasing off these nasty cats who come at night and want to poop in my flower bed. But I’m sure a few of them bit the dust this fall with that many bears in town; feeding the bears not the kitty cats.

The bears was a bit of a new thing at least to the extend they frequented our little town this fall, hardly a day went buy when you didn’t see several Facebook posts on local groups where people were letting others know where they were hanging out. We had one mama bear with 3 cubs in town and she showed up a few weeks ago around 3 AM on our Ring doorbell camera. I have the “you are currently being recorded” message set to play whenever the Ring detects motion and it’s actually quite funny how the other morning my wife saw a cat going buy and as soon as the recording started the nasty thing jumped about a foot in the air and ran, too bad they don’t make a version of the Ring which can squirt powerful jets of water. Can anyone comment on the initial installation of the doorbell, accessibility of the app, usefulness with Alexa, etc.? If you have recommendations for a specific model, that would be great. We have only used the old fashioned type of doorbells, so are not yet familiar with these guys. Are there any major accessibility issues with the app?
