Peggy, We are talking about two completely different things.
The issue in 17.1 is that the rotor item called Language is not on the rotor. It became unselected in the update. You have to go to where I said to add it back to the rotor by making sure it is selected. To add languages, apparently, is now under VoiceOver, Speech settings. But what determines whether or not you have that on the rotor is in VoiceOver/Rotor/Rotor Items. Maybe I just missed it. There were many other things to select to put in the rotor, but there was no language selection at all in mine. The only way I could find it was to go in speech and select it there. Maybe if I select it there I will find it in rotor settings , I might try that. Thanks a lot.
