Good to know Rick. We probably should get that one, as ours is one of the recalled models, but it has been working fine but we know we are using it at our own risk. My wife cannot imagine being without one for 6 weeks or more if we go through the replacement process by cutting the cord and submitting a picture and waiting until they send us a replacement, which likely would not be the 2 burner model... Christmas is coming. š

I have the same model and have noticed where the second bottom element makes a huge difference is in the fact that you don't have to turn stuff over. For example, we just made a batch of mini eggrolls and they came out perfectly cooked and crispy all the way around. They honestly seemed like they had been deep fried. They were delicious and better in this air fryer than in any other we have had. I really didn't notice that much difference in cooking time however. Everything seems to cook more evenly.
