Hi, Can you use this particular device without the app effectively if you don’t see? I’ve been wanting to try an air fryer but the few I’ve explored all had touch controls that I couldn’t use. I haven’t done extensive research.

I have the same model and have noticed where the second bottom element makes a huge difference is in the fact that you don't have to turn stuff over. For example, we just made a batch of mini eggrolls and they came out perfectly cooked and crispy all the way around. They honestly seemed like they had been deep fried. They were delicious and better in this air fryer than in any other we have had. I really didn't notice that much difference in cooking time however. Everything seems to cook more evenly.
