Good question Sieghard, I thought that was mostly for non-VoiceOver users, or in the case of speak screen, if you wanted to lock the phone while reading something lengthy. But speak screen only requires a two finger swipe down from the status bar... In the past, having both speak selection and speak screen on with VoiceOver caused more distraction than helping. But there must be a specific case where all that is desired.
