I was on vacation last August in the Pocono Mountains in eastern Pennsylvania. In the valleys, I had no cell service. Yet Blind Square continued to lead me to the cabins and fire pits I created as favorites, as navigation satellites were used to provide location information. When cell service went away, Good Maps Outdoors was useless. Blind Square has worked well for me in both the big city where I live, Chicago, and in rural areas where I visit with no or spotty cell service.
