Hi Bill, If you ever get a double charge, make sure you call your credit card company. Explain to them what happened, and ask them to put that charge in dispute status. Your credit card company will then dispute it with Uber, and chances, you will get your money credited back from Uber in to your card, and the bank will let you know the outcome of the dispute. It doesn't sound like the Uber app is very accessible, and if so, make sure you tell that to your credit card company. Companies don't like to deal with the banks.

I had a mishap occur earlier this evening I have never experienced, and wonder what additional steps I need to take. I put in a McDonald's order but the driver never showed, and despite repeated attempts I could not connect with her. So I rated her thumbs down and selected a couple options for problems, but they didn't really fit. I put in a second order, the same one I had intended, a bit later, and it came. I discussed with the fellow what had happened, and he didn't have any further advice other than what I had done and to contact Uber. I am concerned about having a double charge when I only got the one order. I need to know the correct procedure to follow at this point. I have in the last wee already had to eat, quite literally, a pizza order situation wherein I ended up with a double order because a call center messed up and two orders got run when I was left on hold for taking my check card number, and a second agent reran the order since we didn't know the first one had been sent. At least then I had an overabundance that I could enjoy over a couple days. Bill Outman -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
