For Wi-Fi connection you can see status in settings under Wi-Fi for the 
connected router. Like below 

Group TP-LINK_Power Strip_8089, No Internet Connection, Unsecure network, 
Signal strength 3 of 3 bars rows 1 to 8 of 9 Top of screen, Settings
