I just did a review of voice dream; gave it five stars. The title is: “voice dream – a dream come true”.
I paid for the subscription, gladly. I understand that for some folks coming up with $60 all at once is a stretch; a monthly subscription would be good. A friend pointe out that it would have been better if they’d showed us one of their touted upgrades before asking us to pay. But I love the app; if they could get it integrated with Kindle that would be a game changer and I would love an AI voice. But I think it’s ridiculous this complaining and complaining. You were not promised a perpetually free app after you paid your 10 or whatever dollars it was. In fact, if anybody has a long enough memory, you might remember when Winston himself charged for a major upgrade. I don’t remember the circumstances, but I do definitely remember having to pay for a big upgrade. And I didn’t care. It was worth it. This might be worth it too. It certainly the best app out there if you’re a big book user. The Applause Group bought Voice Dream LLC in April of 2023. Applause Group never said you would never have to pay. They said you didn’t have to pay right away.
