Carolyn, It wouldn't hurt to ask them. As I said before, and as I still say, I think it is important to have a caller ID. I can't tell you how many times I've answered the phone, only to hear someone on the other end wanting me to send money to another country. I don't want to be bothered by all the scammers calling me. Hi Sieghard and All, I just called my phone carrier T-Mobile, regarding the caller ID issue I have been having. They turned the caller ID on for me, and they said they just updated it, but they also said some times this can take 72 hours, before it will take affect. So, they had me to hang up the phone, and restart the phone to see if it worked then. They then called me back a few minutes later, and I told them I still get the message saying in progress, but not the option to toggle it on or off. They assured me it will be working within 72 hours, and they will call me back this coming Tuesday to check if I can turn it on then. They told me to keep checking the setting in between now and Tuesday. They also said because of this issue, they will not charge me any monthly payment for my next bill. So, we'll see. Thank you all.
