Larry, I just replied to another message of Richard's, but just in case you didn't see o rread it entirely, it does not appear that this app update comes with a hardware update or requires one. I updated the Sonos app on our iPad last night and then did a manual check for updates in the new Sonos app and I was told that my system was up to date. This app update seems to be all about a new look and user interface and not about new capabilities of the system.
