Focus contains the ability to have various named settings such as Sleep, Do not disturb, Work meeting, etc. You can check or set up these under Settings, Focus. As Sieghard posted, you can check whether Focus is currently turned on within the Control Center. I access the Control Center by placing focus on something in the topline status bar such as the time and doing a 3 finger swipe up.
