Hi Mitch, Right, Voice Memos nor any other app other than some paid third party apps can record phone calls.
But, if he can wait until iOS 18 is released, which is probably next Tuesday, September 10, he will be able to record them from within the phone app and then have a transcript saved in the notes app. I don’t know if any of the beta testers have tried this yet assuming it is available in the beta already.
