First, you helped just fine. After all, grin, you can only tell me about your own experiences, no matter what they were. I'm in Kentucky. And second, as I eluded to in another message the other day, for who knows what reason, and only on this list, sounds like from the way that you replied to me that my name was one of the ones that wasn't showing up in the from field when a message is received. I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong on my end or if this is just the way things are set up, as in addition to my own, there are two or three others here that when their messages come through, their names do not show up in the from field, either, at least not on my iPhones. Hope this makes sense.

Subject: a couple Walmart app questions
 

Actually, my two questions may apply to the Walmart website here in the US as well, but since I mainly use the app for ordering and pretty much just use the website for writing in my feedback after I’ve received the order, I can’t say for sure.

 

First, often, but not every time I submit an order, some kind of screen comes up that shows my address and seems to also show a map and wants me to confirm the correct location to deliver my order. Have you all gotten this, and what do you do with it when it comes up? Once in a while I’ll double tap the okay or confirm or whatever it is, but I most often just close the window since there appears to be a map there and I don’t want to inadvertently indicate a wrong location.

 

Second, although I only noticed it once as I don’t really go in and look that closely when they’re bringing my order, but I watched the tracking more carefully one time when they were delivering something to my sister. Not that it made any difference in the end since my sister didn’t get what I was trying to send to her for the second day in a row. But, anyway, I noticed a button there that one could double tap on to contact the driver, and I was wondering just what that button did? I mean, does it just initiate a text or phone call to the driver, or does it give one options of how to contact the driver? And if so and one opts to send a text, does it allow for dictation and/or give a person enough time to type out a text? Although, seeing as the driver would be on their way, I’m guessing either a phone call or dictating a text would be the best option. Hope this makes sense as I hate to initiate something without knowing exactly what to expect, especially when contacting another person.
