We have a Schlage Encode Plus, one of the more expensive options, but an excellent lock which supports Homekit and Homekey or whatever it is called where I can just walk up to my lock, hold my Apple Watch up to it and it will unlock without any further intervention. Same works with my iPhone, but of course the iPhone has to be unlocked first. You can also ask Siri to unlock it and the app works OK as far as setting up codes for guests or maybe you have an electrician or plumber coming between 8 and 9 on Wednesday, you could set up a code for them and make it so it only works during that time on that particular day; I think you can also designate codes to work only once. Of course you could always ask them to call when they are at your door and you can then remotely unlock the door for them. There are of course other locks which have all or most of these features, Apple Homekey is not quite as common, but there are more and more locks which support it as well.
