I’m one who only upgrades my phone when I can’t do things I want to do. For
this reason last March my wife and I turned in our iPhone 6S phones for iPhone
15S. Over recent months I have used access apps like Seeing AI BeMyAI etc. I
have heard that accessibility apps for the blind will be greatly enhanced or
only work if the phone has Lidar. I know that’s probably not the correct
spelling. Anyway, when I got my 15S last March I thought the guy at the AT&T
store told me it had Lidar. I have since discovered that it doesn’t. My
question is what will Lidar do for me that I can’t do without it? I am
seriously thinking of upgrading to a 16 Pro in a few months if Lidar is really
that important. Can someone give me a description of what I would get if I had
Lidar? Thanks.

Karl
