Handy, right? * Copilot said that was exclusive to the 16 pro, that is not correct, that works with any pro model that has LIDAR. I’m hoping that more things will be added to some of the accessibility apps in iOS 18.1, but LIDAR itself is no reason yet to buy a particular phone. I’m one who only upgrades my phone when I can’t do things I want to do. For this reason last March my wife and I turned in our iPhone 6S phones for iPhone 15S. Over recent months I have used access apps like Seeing AI BeMyAI etc. I have heard that accessibility apps for the blind will be greatly enhanced or only work if the phone has Lidar. I know that’s probably not the correct spelling. Anyway, when I got my 15S last March I thought the guy at the AT&T store told me it had Lidar. I have since discovered that it doesn’t. My question is what will Lidar do for me that I can’t do without it? I am seriously thinking of upgrading to a 16 Pro in a few months if Lidar is really that important. Can someone give me a description of what I would get if I had Lidar? Thanks.
