Caroline, you can use your phone to death for everything whether you have an expensive plan or not. The fact is that carriers as a rule still ge ttheir money's worth and they are not giving you a brand new iPhone for half the price. Tjhey may make it sound that way, but believe me, if you add it all up you pay for it one way or another.
