This is simply the default setting, you get a second notification after 2 minutes. If you don’t want it, just go to Settings > Notifications > Messages > Customize Notifications and tap on “Repeat Alerts”. You can set it from “Never” to once, twice, 3 times, 5 times or 10 times. If you do request for the message notification to be repeated, it will always be a t a 2 minute interval, e.g. “Once” means you get a second notification after 2 minutes, “Twice” means you would get a second after 2 minutes and a third after 4 minutes etc. Change it
