I started with the iPhone when purchasing from Audible was possible, several weeks later it was not which is sort of sad but, I am able to use something I don't remember how I got it, cut on my home screen it says shop audible and have purchased a couple of books that way, I think I found this available on the audible mobile site, as I don't remember looking in the app store but it has been a long time and I truly do not remember.

Apple's insistence on taking a cut of all such sales caused folks like Audible and, I suspect Amazon and B&N as well, not to offer such conveniences, and why should they? Interestingly, I just had the opposite experience as you did, Kiety, finding a book on Nook for $10.79, while the same was available on iBooks for $15. Choice is a very good thing, which is why I still hope Amazon makes the Kindle app accessible, since they generally do seem to have the best prices.
