Hi Andy, To change the tip, you just have to gently pull it off of the stem. It does come off. Then you will replace it by pressing the larger tip on the stem in the same manner you pulled it off. Make sure it lines up.
The stem is a little different than older AirPods. You squeeze the stem, you don’t press on it. When you squeeze the stem once, it should start your music, book, or whatever a magic tap would do for you. If that doesn't work, start some music with your phone, then squeeze the stem lightly once. To go to the next track, squeeze the stem twice quickly. To go back, squeeze three times. To change the volume on the AirPods themselves, swipe up or down on the stem. To activate the controls you set in the settings, squeeze and hold on the stem to activate them. Hope this helps, Jenn > On Oct 10, 2024, at 11:48 PM, [email protected] wrote: > > I received my new AirPods Pro 2s yesterday and have a couple of issues. > I set them up to take certain actions when the stems are pressed, but when I > press a stem nothing happens. > Also, when I did the ear tip fit test it suggested that I didn’t have a good > fit in the right ear, and suggested that I change to a larger tip. > I do notice some audio intrusion from the outside in the right ear. > I can’t figure out how to change the tip. > > Any help is appreciated. > > Andy > > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your V iPhone list moderator is Mark Taylor.
