I did, I brought it up to 150 percent.

That is the new thing, once Audio Ducking is on, you can adjust the volume to up to 199% which means the media volume will drop to almost silent. It does not seem to work on phone calls though, but if you have a book playing, or music, etc., as you raise the volume with audio ducking on, the media will lower in volume. I actually just turned audio ducking on for the first time and so far have not noticed a difference. Sometimes, when audio ducking is set to always, it basically fails to work for me. If I set it to while speaking, it works better. I hope this stabilizes in 18.1. There's nothing all that special about it. Turn the rotor to audio ducking and flick up or down to go through the choices. I suggest setting it to always. Once that's done, turn the rotor to volume. You can then set the VoiceOver volume past 100 percent if you want VoiceOver to be that much louder than the other audio. I set it to around 125 percent and that usually does the trick. Some apps are louder so I've gone as high as 140%. Another nice thing is that you can go under 100%. Say you're on a Zoom call and don't want to miss what people are saying but still need to hear VoiceOver. Set volume to around 80% so VoiceOver is lower than the volume of the Zoom call. The good thing about audio ducking set to always is that it keeps the relative volume levels stable. Hope this helps a bit.
