To answer Viphone, AKA Mark, you have to redownload them. IN the future, and I doubt very near future, BARD plans to allow syncing with all devices, but that isn’t likely to happen quickly.
So, you can decide if it is worth your time to download them all, or just download them when you are ready to read them. You will have to re-download them on the new device. I always leave a long list in my wish list because that remains on the NLS server.
