Hi Janet, yes they werefully charged. Only thing I am wondering if exactly where the camera lens is. Perhaps I do not have the item positioned exactly right. At least that is what I am hoping. I feel a little raised symbol on both the left and right arms. Where is the lens in relation to this symbol?

A blind friend says she has found them helpful for describing scenes or finding something she has dropped. She has used these glasses as well as the envision glasses. She used to teach access tech so is quite well versed in technology. I have been less than impressed. Part of that is my fault, though. I was holding items in front of the lenses on the glasses rather than near the camera lens. I listened to a tutorial/demo that brent harbolt of harbolt company had put together. Unfortunately, my results have not been as impressive as his, even when using the camera lens and trying to find out info about the olympic torch I carried in 2002 winter olympics and other pictures. Right now, not convinced will keep these glasses.
