Jenny, you can take videos with your iPhone as well, there really is only one difference and that is that instead of holding the iPhone you now record through the glasses. I admit that this may be easier for some, but if as a blind person you don’t have a good sense of where you are looking it may still be difficult for some. Also, don’t forget all you can record is I believe up to I think 3 minutes of video which in many situations is enough, but as far as I can tell you also have to set this in Settings with the options being 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute and 3 minutes. If you select 3 minutes you get a warning that it uses up a lot of battery. You can of course set it to 3 minutes and manually stop sooner, but you can’t go over 3 minutes unless you record again. Also, if you live in a climate where it gets cold in the winter, you better realize that performance may be greatly restricted, I was on a WhatsApp video call with my brother a week or so ago when it was only -5 Celsius (about 23 Fahrenheit) and after about 20 minutes of being outdoors the video suddenly stopped and Bluetooth disconnected even though my battery level was stil 73%. They are definitely great for some things, but they are not quite yet on par with Geordi La Forge’s visor.
